The statue of Johannes Nepomuk on Horner Strasse in Eggenburg dates from around 1725.
The Austrian art topography for the Horn district describes the complex by the bridge over the Schmida as a brick building similar to a chapel with a large arched niche. The building is framed by pilasters . On the gable roof there are putti and vases .
There is a larger than life statue of the saint with angels and cherub heads on a high pedestal , which is flanked by steep volutes. The statue of Johannes Nepomuk is protected by a stone balustrade.
