Johannes D. Peters

Johannes D. Peters (born May 30, 1915 in Hamburg as Hans Detlef August Friedrich Ernst Peters ; † August 15, 1986 in Hamburg) was a German radio play author and columnist .

Life

After school and labor service, Peters was drafted into the Wehrmacht in 1939 . He started writing in the post-war period. His first radio play, the adaptation of a Pater Brown story by GK Chesterton , was broadcast by NWDR Cologne on November 6, 1948. Radio Saarbrücken broadcast his last of around 30 radio plays on December 14, 1954. In the following years, Peters worked for agencies and Publishers in the advertising industry.
