Johannes "nex" Maget (born June 20, 1992 ) is a German e-athlete who has been active in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive discipline since 2012 .

Career

Johannes “nex” Maget played for EnRo Griffins in early 2014. After a few tournaments he switched to Planetkey Dynamics and achieved his first notable successes such as first place at the EPS Summer 2014. With PkD he also took part in the DreamHack Winter 2014 tournament. At the beginning of 2015 nex switched to Penta Sports , which participated in ESL One Katowice 2015 and reached the quarter-finals. At the beginning of May 2015 he left with Timo “Spiidi” Richter and Denis “denis” Howell Penta Sports and switched to mousesports . After a short time, the team successfully took part in some 99damage arenas. In the first season of the Acer Predator Masters , they had to admit defeat in the final against HellRaisers and thus finished 2nd.

In July 2016 Maget reached the semi-finals of the first season of the Eleague with mousesports . Since the signing of Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný in August 2016 until the end of 2016, Maget has been the Mice substitute. On January 2, 2017, nex joined the Berlin International Gaming team, which was co-founded by Fatih "gob b" Dayik .

On December 23, 2018, BIG announced that Maget has had wrist pain for several months and will seek medical treatment. With the departure of Owen "smooya" Butterfield on February 1, 2019, Maget was re-added to the active line-up. The treatment of his injury is making great strides and he can play again with virtually no pain. Since Fatih Dayik's career ended , he has been playing with smooya at Berlin International Gaming . On January 1, 2020, the organization announced the separation from him and smooya.
