Johannes Voecking

Johannes Vöcking (born April 16, 1949 in Ahaus ) is a former German politician and was Chairman of the Board of the Barmer Ersatzkasse until December 31, 2009 .

Life

Vöcking spent most of his school time at the Catholic boarding school Collegium Augustinianum Gaesdonck , where he also did his Abitur . He then studied law at the Universities of Bonn and Freiburg im Breisgau . In 1972 he laid the first, in 1977, the second state exam , and received his doctorate for Dr. iur.
