Johannishus is a village ( Tatort ) in the municipality of Ronneby in the Swedish province of Blekinge län and the historical province (landskap) Blekinge .
A good two kilometers north of the village is Johannishus Castle, which was acquired by Count Hans Wachtmeister zu Johannishus in 1684 and has remained in the possession of Count Wachtmeister af Johannishus to this day .
The castle with the surrounding settlement has been listed by Statistiska centralbyrån as småort Johannishus slott since 2015, as it had been before until 2000 , after its population rose to over 50 again.
In the northern part of the village there is a primary school, next to it there is a library. The church of the village is the church of Hjortsberga (Hjortsberga kyrka), which is located a little to the west and which gave its name to the parish Hjortsberga socken and the rural community Hjortsberga landskommun , which existed from 1863 to the end of 1951 , as well as for the independent parish Hjortsberga församling and the until 2001 District formed in 2016 within their borders .
