John C. Howard
John C. Howard (born July 1, 1930 in Los Angeles , † May 28, 1983 in Sherman Oaks ) was an American film editor .
For his first film, Two Bandits , Howard received the British Academy Film Award in 1971 together with Richard C. Meyer .
Together with Danford B. Greene , he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Editing for the film The Wild Wild West in 1975 .
A director with whom he collaborated on several film projects was Mel Brooks . Overall, Howard was involved as an independent editor up to and including 1983 in 20 film and television projects.
