John Chrisostom Kwon Hyok-ju

John Chrisostom Kwon Hyok-ju ( kor. 권혁주 , born September 5, 1957 in Uisong-kun , South Korea ) is a South Korean clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Andong .

Life

John Chrisostom Kwon Hyok-ju received on 26 January 1983, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On October 16, 2001, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Andong. The Archbishop Emeritus of Seoul , Stephen Cardinal Kim Sou-hwan , donated him episcopal ordination on December 4th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Daegu , Paul Ri Moun-hi , and the Bishop Emeritus of Andong, René Marie Albert Dupont MEP .
