history

The diocese of Andong was on May 29, 1969 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Quae in Actibus from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Daegu and the Diocese of Wonju and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Daegu as a suffragan .
