Paul Ri Moun-hi

Paul Ri Moun-hi (born September 14, 1935 in Taikyū , then the Japanese Empire , now South Korea ) is old archbishop of Daegu .

Life

Paul Ri Moun-hi was ordained a priest on December 23, 1965 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Daegu . Pope Paul VI appointed him on September 19, 1972 auxiliary bishop in Daegu and titular bishop of Forconium .

The Apostolic Pro-Nuncio for North and South Korea, Ippolito Rotoli , donated him episcopal ordination on November 30 of the same year ; Co -consecrators were Gabriel Lee Gab-sou , auxiliary bishop in Pusan , and René Marie Albert Dupont M.EP , bishop of Andong .

John Paul II appointed him coadjutor archbishop of Daegu on January 5, 1985 . After John Baptist Sye Bong-Kils retired , he succeeded him on July 5, 1986 as Archbishop of Daegu. On March 29, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.
