Ippolito Rotoli
Ippolito Rotoli (born September 2, 1914 in Sezze , Province of Latina , Italy , † October 4, 1977 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
Ippolito Rotoli received on 20 June 1937, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On November 9, 1927, Pope Pius XI appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Corinthus and ordered him to Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in South Korea . The Cardinal Secretary of State Amleto Giovanni Cardinal Cicognani donated him episcopal ordination on December 30th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Archbishop Sergio Pignedoli , and the Bishop of Tarquinia and Civitavecchia , Giulio Bianconi .
On November 15, 1972, Ippolito Rotoli became Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Ethiopia . Paul VI appointed him on January 10, 1974 as Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Japan .
