John F. Link (film editor)
John F. Link is an American film editor . His father was the American film editor and film director John F. Link senior , who died in 1968 .
Life
Link worked as an editor from the mid-1950s, primarily for television productions until the 1980s. From 1987 onwards more than a dozen cinema productions followed, including several action films. For his montage of Die Hard , he was nominated in 1989 together with Frank J. Urioste for an Oscar in the category Best Editing .
He last appeared in the film Sex or Die in 2000 .
