John Flynn (director)

John Flynn (born March 14, 1932 in Chicago , Illinois , † April 4, 2007 in Pacific Palisades , California ) was an American film director .

From 1962 Flynn worked as an assistant director for several films before directing his first own film, Der Sergeant, in 1968. Up to and including 2001, 15 other film productions followed, including with actors such as Steven Seagal and Sylvester Stallone . He also wrote the screenplay for Revolt in the Underworld (1973).
