John Olov Güttke (born March 30, 1931 in Eda , † December 18, 2007 in Gunnarskog ) was a former Swedish biathlete .
John Güttke started during his active time for the Åmotfors Skytteförening association . He celebrated his greatest success at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck , where he took part in the only biathlon competition, the individual. Although he only achieved the seventeenth-best running time, but due to only two missed shots and the associated four penalty minutes, Güttke reached ninth place and was therefore the best Swede.
