John Henry Hendrickson (born October 20, 1872 in Long Island , † February 24, 1925 in Queens ) was an American sports marksman .

successes

John Hendrickson took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris in a trap . In the team competition he took first place with the US team ahead of Great Britain and Germany. The Americans, whose team consisted of Charles Billings , James Graham , Edward Gleason , Ralph Spotts and Frank Hall , secured the gold medal with a total of 532 points and thus 21 points ahead . Hendrickson was the fourth best shooter on the team with 89 points. In the individual competition he finished 44th with 14 points after failing to qualify for the second round on 20 goals in the first round.
