Ralph Lewis Spotts (born June 14, 1875 in Canton , † April 17, 1924 in New York City ) was an American sports marksman .
successes
Ralph Spotts took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris in a trap . In the team competition he took first place with the US team ahead of Great Britain and Germany. With a total of 532 points and thus 21 points ahead, the Americans, whose team also consisted of Charles Billings , James Graham , John Hendrickson , Edward Gleason and Frank Hall , had secured the gold medal. Spotts was the team's third best shooter with 90 points. In the individual competition, he finished ninth with 87 points.
Spotts was a real estate agent.
