John Herron (born February 1, 1994 in Coatbridge ) is a Scottish football player who has played for Blackpool FC in England since June 2015 . He is currently awarded to the Scottish second division club Dunfermline Athletic .

Career

Born in Scotland Coatbridge 1994 Herron came in 2002 in the Youth Academy of Celtic Glasgow . The midfielder played for the Bhoys in the UEFA Youth League from the 2013/14 season . He had previously made his professional debut under team manager Neil Lennon at the age of 18 in the 2012/13 season when he came on for Georgios Samaras in the game against Ross County . In January 2015 Herron was loaned to the Scottish second division club FC Cowdenbeath until the end of the season. After returning to Celtic , Herron was sold to Blackpool FC .

National team

John Herron made his debut for the Scottish U-15 national team in March 2009. In the same year he made his debut in the U-16. Active in the U-17s from 2010 , he scored his first goal in the national shirt in the 8-0 away win against Malta in January of that year. From 2012 Herron played in four different junior teams from the U-18s to the U-21s .
