John Ifeanyichukwu Okoye (born August 4, 1950 in Owelli ) is Bishop of Awgu .
Life
John Ifeanyichukwu Okoye was ordained a priest on July 22, 1978 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Awgu on July 8, 2005 .
The Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria , Renzo Fratini , donated him episcopal ordination on September 29 of the same year; Co- consecrators were John Olorunfemi Onaiyekan , Archbishop of Abuja , and Anthony Okonkwo Gbuji , Bishop of Enugu .
