John Joseph Mulcahy
John Joseph Mulcahy (born June 26, 1922 in Dorchester , Massachusetts , USA , † April 26, 1994 ) was auxiliary bishop in Boston .
Life
John Joseph Mulcahy received on 1 May 1947, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On December 28, 1974, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Penafiel and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Boston. The Archbishop of Boston, Humberto Cardinal Sousa Medeiros , donated him episcopal ordination on February 11, 1975 ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Boston, Thomas Joseph Riley and Lawrence Joseph Riley .
On July 21, 1992, John Joseph Mulcahy resigned as auxiliary bishop in Boston.
