John Marvin LeVoir (born February 7, 1946 in Minneapolis ) is an American clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of New Ulm .

Life

John Marvin LeVoir was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis on May 30, 1981 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of New Ulm on July 14, 2008. The Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, John Clayton Nienstedt , donated him episcopal ordination on September 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Frederick Francis Campbell , Bishop of Columbus and Peter Forsyth Christensen , Bishop of Superior .

Pope Francis accepted his early resignation on August 6, 2020.
