John Quade
John Quade (actually John William Saunders III ; born April 1, 1938 in Kansas City , Kansas , † August 9, 2009 in Rosamond , California ) was an American actor .
Life
Quade played a variety of sports during his high school years, graduating in 1956. After attending Washburn University, he initially worked as an engineer for Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway and on space programs . In 1972 Quade was discovered for the film and, without having attended drama school, was cast in over 100 roles from then on, mostly as a vicious opponent of the heroes; among the most famous was that of motorcycle gang leader Cholla in two Clint Eastwood films, with whom he often worked. In addition to guest appearances in series ( Bonanza , Baywatch , Ein Colt for all cases ) , he was also seen on television in roles such as Roots , Flatbush and Lucky Luke .
As a Christian activist, he was a critic of the US government, which would have distanced itself from the intentions of the founding fathers. Quade had six children.
