John Robson (athlete)
John Patn Robson (born January 31, 1957 ) is a former British middle -distance runner who specialized in the 1,500 meter distance .
In 1978, starting for Scotland , he won bronze at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton and finished eighth at the European Athletics Championships in Prague . In 1979 he won bronze at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in Vienna .
At the World Cross Country Championships in Paris in 1980 he was fifth.
