John Romig

John Romig ( John Luther Romig; born October 6, 1898 in Beaver Springs , Pennsylvania , † March 16, 1984 in Kennett Square ) was an American long-distance runner .

At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924 he was fourth over 5000 m. In 1928 in Amsterdam he did not reach the goal over 10,000 m.

In 1922 he became US indoor champion over two miles . Over the same distance he was starting 1921 NCAA champions for Pennsylvania State University .
