John Sharian

John Sharian (* in Connecticut ) is an American actor .

Life

John Sharian, who was born in the US state of Connecticut, first attended the college preparatory private school Taft School in Watertown , Connecticut and then the Kenyon College , a private academy of the fine arts, in Gambier in the state of Ohio . He finished his studies there in 1984. John Sharian then graduated as an actor from the Bristol Old Vic Theater School in Bristol , England , and began working for television shortly thereafter. He had his first role in 1992 in the British television series Red Dwarf .

This was followed by further engagements for movies and television productions , in which John Sharian mostly played supporting roles . He also lent his voice to characters in some computer games .

John Sharian had his most famous appearance in the role of the mysterious worker Ivan in the movie The Machinist (2004).
