John Watters
John Watters ( John Nickerson "Soapy" Watters; born July 22, 1903 in Winchester , Massachusetts , † August 3, 1962 in Weston , Massachusetts) was an American middle -distance runner who had specialized in the 800-meter distance .
At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924 he was seventh in 1: 54.8 min.
He set his personal best over 880 yards of 1: 53.8 min (corresponds to 1: 53.1 min over 800 m) on July 11, 1925 in Cambridge .
