Johnny Palermo

John Joseph "Johnny" Palermo (born March 1, 1982 in Rochester , New York , † June 8, 2009 in Hollywood , California ) was an American film actor .

Life

The actor with Italian roots grew up in Webster , a suburb of Rochester, New York, and graduated from high school there in 2000 . During his school days, Palermo was also active in sports and played American football professionally . He then enrolled at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania , where he completed a two-year training course as a makeup artist .

In 2002, Palermo moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. In 2004 he made his debut in an episode of the television series Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten . Due to its Mediterranean, southern appearance, Palermo also took on mostly Italian roles, including in TV series such as All Hate Chris , General Hospital , Rules of Engagement , How I Met Your Mother and Emergency Room . Palermo was only able to take part in two feature films, including the 2006 thriller Slip .

On the morning of June 8, 2009, Johnny Palermo and his 25-year-old friend Alessandra Giangrande were killed in a traffic accident. Giangrandes brother, who was also in the car, survived the accident seriously injured.
