action
Rumor has it in France that marijuana should be legalized. Joseph, who comes from a family of butchers who run a kosher butcher's shop, smells big business, because the meat business is no longer really good. He decides to convert the butcher shop into France's first coffee shop. But before he can really take off he has to convince his family of the idea, and even if weed is soon legalized, it turns out that it takes a dose of crime to be successful in this business.
Cast and dubbing
The German dubbing was based on a dubbing book by Nathan Bechhofer and Tim Sander (episodes 4–5 only) and was directed by Tim Sander on behalf of SDI Media Germany.

reception
Serienjunkies.de writes that the series is not worth mentioning , the actors are nice, the staging is not particularly exciting, the biggest negative point of criticism is the weird humor of creator Igor Gotesman, which is fatal in a comedy .
Oliver Armknecht describes the humor as horrific on film-rezensions.de and questions whether it can still be called humor. In his opinion, the characters are neither exciting nor personable, the six episodes are still too many and the announcement contained in the series for a second season is more of a threat.
Julian Miller, on the other hand, describes Joint Venture onquotemeter.de as a young, modern and yet unmistakably traditional French comedy, whose humor hits and whose characters manage the balancing act between satirical parody and closeness to character .
While critics were mostly negative about the series, viewers were more positive. Around 1000 users voted in the Internet Movie Database , giving 7.2 out of 10 possible points.
