Stephan Baumecker (born January 8, 1961 in Luckenwalde ) is a German actor .

Career

Stephan Baumecker studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin from 1984 to 1988 . After graduating, he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Nationaltheater Weimar, Schillertheater Berlin, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Faust Ensemble and the Berliner Ensemble and worked there with renowned directors such as Leander Haussmann , Dimiter Gotscheff , Jürgen Kruse , Werner Schroeter , Peter Stein , Robert Wilson and Claus Peymann together. He has been working as a freelancer since 2006, including at the Volksbühne Berlin , the Staatstheater Wiesbaden and the Schauspielhaus Leipzig and has appeared in many national TV series and films such as Herr Lehmann , Hai-Alarm am Müggelsee , Berlin, Berlin , Löwenzahn , Tatort , Police Call 110 , SOKO Wismar and many others. From 2009 to 2010 he played the male lead of Martin Ahrens in the ARD - telenovela Red roses .
