FC Barcelona

The last few years as a player
When “Goiko” lost his regular place, he went to the traditional Basque team Athletic Bilbao , where he quickly found his way back to his old class. In his last season at Athletic he was still only a replacement.
At the age of 32, he decided on the adventure of Japan . Goiko played in the 1997/1998 season for a year with the Yokohama F. Marinos in the Japanese J-League.
In the following season he let his career with CA Osasuna , his home club, in the Segunda División end.
