Jonathan Donald "Jon" Weeks (* 17th February 1986 in Bethpage , New York ) is an American American football poker players on the position of Long Snappers . He plays for the Houston Texans in the National Football League (NFL).

college

Weeks, who was still used in various positions in the offensive line and in the defensive line in high school , attended Baylor University and was converted into a long snapper . For his university team, the Bears, he played a total of 30 games.

NFL

Weeks was not considered in the 2008 NFL Draft , was then tested by the Detroit Lions as part of a training camp , but could not convince. It wasn't until two years later, when he was already training to be an emergency paramedic , that he was hired as a free agent by the Houston Texans . Since then he has played for his team in every game.

In the 2015 season he was able to secure a fumble in the encounter with the Tennessee Titans and was appointed to the Pro Bowl for the first time .
