Jonas Marz (born May 13, 1989 in Speyer ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Jonas Marz started playing soccer in Römerberg near Speyer at the local club FV Heiligenstein and played in the district selection when he was 11. A year later he switched to the youth team at 1. FC Kaiserslautern . In the two A-youth years from 2006 to 2008 he played for TSG Hoffenheim in the Junior Bundesliga South / Southwest. He was also appointed to the DFB's junior team for two U-18 internationals in Turkey at the end of 2006.
The midfielder began his senior career at TSV 1860 Munich . However, he stayed there for only a year and only played seven times in the regional league team before he returned to his home country to the "Red Devils". At Kaiserslautern he was a regular player in the second team from 2009 to 2011, which also played at the regional league level, but did not make the leap into the professional area up to the 1st Bundesliga.
Therefore, in 2011 he moved to VfR Aalen in the 3rd division, where he signed a one-year contract. On the 9th game day he came there for his first appearance in professional football, but did not get beyond the status of a supplementary player in the further course of the season. By the end of the season in which the club was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga , Marz had a total of eleven third division appearances , but only three of them from the start and none over the full playing time. As a result, his contract was not renewed.
As a result, Marz was initially without a club before the regional league team KSV Hessen Kassel signed him in September 2012 . Marz's former coach in Hoffenheim and Munich, Uwe Wolf , was the coach of the Hessen team .
