Jonathan Kunz
Jonathan Kunz (born September 29, 1988 in Ulm ) is a German comic book author , illustrator and lecturer.
Life
Jonathan Kunz studied Media Art & Design at the HBK Saar a . a. with Christina Kubisch and Ivica Maksimovic . During this time he got to know the comic artist Elizabeth Pich , with whom he has designed the English-language satirical webcomic War and Peas since 2011 . Since 2013 he has been a lecturer at the HBK Saar in the comic & illustration area and organizes the comic symposium in Saarbrücken every year as well as various comic readings in the greater region . In 2017 he exhibited abstract comic pictures in the State Art Exhibition Saar in the Museum St. Wendel .
The anthology Paradies of the HBK Saar, which he oversees, was awarded the Max-und-Moritz-Preis as best student publication in 2018 .
In March 2020, the first book by War and Peas was published by Andrews McMeel Publishing and Panini
