Jonathan Roth
Jonathan Roth (born May 11, 1873 in Eltingen , † August 2, 1924 in Leonberg ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Roth attended elementary school in Eltingen, then the Korntal community Latin school , from 1889 to 1893 the Karlsgymnasium in Stuttgart , studied from 1893 to 1895 law in Tübingen , 1895–96 in Berlin and until 1898 again in Tübingen. He was a lifelong member of the student union Landsmannschaft Scotland . From 1899 to 1902 he was a trainee lawyer at the Böblingen District Court and the Stuttgart Regional Court. He also received his doctorate as Dr. jur. From spring 1903 he was a lawyer in Leonberg. In 1898/99 he was a one-year volunteer in the field artillery regiment No. 13 in Cannstatt and later a non-commissioned officer in the reserve.
From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Kingdom of Württemberg 4 Böblingen , Vaihingen , Leonberg , Maulbronn and the Federation of Farmers . Between 1911 and 1918 he was a member of the Württemberg Land estates and from 1919 of the Landtag of the Free People's State of Württemberg . From 1920 to 1924 he was 1st Vice President of the Landtag of the Free People's State of Württemberg .
