Jonelle Price (born October 14, 1980 in Nelson (New Zealand) , born Jonelle Richards ) is a New Zealand eventing rider .

Jonelle Price does not come from an equestrian family. She grew up in Motueka , where she found her way to equestrian sport through a friend who had horses of her own. After graduating from high school, she began studying law at the University of Canterbury but did not graduate and focused on horse riding. In 1998 she met the New Zealand eventing rider Tim Price , they had a relationship since 2001, and they married in January 2013.

In 2005 Jonelle Price moved to England with Tim Price, where there is a much larger number of riders and tournaments than in New Zealand. Both are based in Marlborough . Price celebrated her greatest individual success to date when she achieved fourth place in the individual ranking with Classic Moet at the 2014 World Equestrian Games under adverse conditions .

Jonelle Price won her first two victories in 4 * eventing within a few weeks: at the beginning of May 2018 she won the Badminton Horse Trials with Classic Moet , in mid-June 2018 she won the CCI 4 * Luhmühlen with Faerie Dianimo .
