Jong Pok-sim (born July 31, 1985 ) is a North Korean soccer player . The striker was a North Korean national player .

She won the Australia Cup with North Korea in 2004. In 2006, North Korea won the gold medal at the Asian Games , with Jong converting the decisive penalty in the final in a penalty shoot-out against Japan. At the 2007 World Cup she was used in all four games and reached the quarter-finals with North Korea, where they were eliminated against eventual world champions Germany . In 2010, North Korea lost to the final of the Asian Cup on penalties against Australia . At the 2010 Asian Games , the 2006 final was reissued and this time Japan won. At the 2011 World Cup in Germany, she played the first two games. Before the third game, she was suspended for testing positive for anabolic steroids on a doping control . She was later banned for 18 months.
