Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert (born October 25, 1990 ) is an American e-athlete who plays the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competitively for the American organization Cloud 9 .

Professional esports career

Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert already achieved international attention in Counter-Strike 1.6 with the Evil Geniuses . At the Extreme Masters Season III - Los Angeles he rose to the podium for the first time in a major tournament. Still playing for EG, n0thing 2009 achieved first victories with the American team in the ESEA League , the GameGune Mexico 2009 and the Intel Extreme Masters IV - American Championship Finals .

After further victories at MSI BEAT IT in 2010 and four more successes in the ESEA League in 2010 and 2011, Jordan Gilbert had to look for a new team after the CS department of the Evil Geniuses was dissolved. So he played in the course of the beginning of the transition to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for several organizations and clans. With maximum effort , he won the 11th season of the ESEA finals. The American also celebrated minor successes with the UMX , Netcode Illuminati , Dynamic and UMAD teams . In August 2013, CompLexity signed n0thing. With this, the American achieved his highest ever prize money win with the semi-finals at DreamHack Winter 2013 . His team also made it to the quarterfinals at EMS One Katowice 2014 . The appealing performance of the team prompted Cloud 9 to sign the coL team in August 2014.

With Cloud 9, n0thing reached the quarter-finals at ESL One Cologne 2014 . Since then, he and his team have been looking for a connection with the world's best. In July 2015, Gilbert's team was able to convince with a second place at the finals of the ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1 and at the Electronic Sports World Cup Final 2015. In October 2016 Gilbert won the final of the ESL Pro League Season 4 with C9 .

Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert regularly streams on the game streaming portal Twitch . During such a live broadcast in July 2014, n0thing fell victim to so-called swatting. Units of the US special unit SWAT stormed the player's house as a result of critical misinformation.
