Life
Jorge Luis Lona was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of San Juan de Cuyo on December 20, 1979 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of San Luis on November 20, 2000 .
The Apostolic Nuncio in Argentina , Archbishop Santos Abril y Castelló , donated him episcopal ordination on December 20 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Juan Rodolfo Laise OFMCap , Bishop of San Luis, Alfonso Delgado Evers , Archbishop of San Juan de Cuyo, and Ítalo Severino Di Stéfano , Old Archbishop of San Juan de Cuyo.
