José Lorenzo Sartori

José Lorenzo Sartori (born May 24, 1932 in Concepción del Uruguay , † October 2, 2018 in Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña ) was an Argentine clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of San Roque de Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña .

Life

José Lorenzo Sartori was ordained a priest by Antonio Rocca, Auxiliary Bishop of Buenos Aires on December 2, 1956 in the chapel of the Villa Devoto Seminary in Buenos Aires.

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of San Roque de Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña on August 27, 1994. The Bishop of San Miguel , Abelardo Francisco Silva , ordained him episcopal on November 19 of the same year in the Cathedral of San Roque ; Co- consecrators were Ítalo Severino Di Stéfano , Archbishop of San Juan de Cuyo , and Dante Carlos Sandrelli , Bishop of Formosa . His episcopal motto was "In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit".

On April 22, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.
