history

The diocese of San Miguel was on July 11, 1978 by Pope Paul VI. Erected with the Papal Bull Totius ut consuleretur from cessions of territory of the Diocese of San Martín and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires as a suffragan .
