Jorge Villazán , full name Jorge Villazán Guillen , (born October 5, 1962 in Durazno , Uruguay ) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

societies

Offensive player Villazán was a member of the Nacional Montevideos team at the beginning of his career from 1980 to 1984 . In 1980 and 1983 the “Bolsos” called Montevidean Uruguayan champions. In addition, his club won in 1980 both in the competition for the Copa Libertadores and for the World Cup . 1985/86 an engagement at CA River Plate is led for him. From there he moved to Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata in 1986 . At the Argentine club, he played 30 games and scored four goals. Villazán, he was a member of the Uruguayan national youth team, which reached the quarter-finals of the 1981 World Cup . There he was used twice and scored one goal. Villazán made his debut on June 2, 1983 in the Uruguayan senior team . He made a total of five international matches. He didn't score a goal. His last international game in the "Celeste" dated September 11, 1983. He took part with Uruguay in the Copa America 1983 and won the continental title.
