Jorja Fox
Jorja-An Fox (* 7 July 1968 in New York City ) is an American actress .
biography
Fox grew up in Melbourne Beach , Florida after her parents, Marilyn (1927-1996) and Edward (* 1924), immigrated to the United States from Montreal . She has an older brother, Jeff.
Fox was already two years in Melbourne High School when she was spotted in a modeling contest. After winning the competition, she moved to New York to begin an acting career. After she had only moderate success in independent films , she was made between 1996 and 1999 through numerous supporting roles as a lesbian doctor Dr. Maggie Doyle in the television series Emergency Room . She capitalized on her new fame and guest starred on an episode of the sitcom Ellen in 1997 .
Fox later mainly made films such as Velocity Trap and The Hungry Bachelors Club . She appeared in several episodes of the 1999 television series The West Wing , which also featured Emily Procter from CSI: Miami . From 2000 to 2008 and from 2010 to 2015 she was Sara Sidle in the regular cast of the first CSI series CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators .
Together with singer and guitarist Heather Grody , Fox founded the production company "Honey Pot", which specializes in theater performances and musicals.
