José Augusto Traquina Maria
José Augusto Traquina Maria (born January 21, 1954 in Alcobaça , Portugal ) is a Portuguese clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Santarém .
Life
José Augusto Traquina Maria received the sacrament of ordination for the Patriarchate of Lisbon on June 30, 1985 .
On 17 April 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Lugura and ordered him auxiliary bishop of Lisbon. The Patriarch of Lisbon, Manuel Clemente , ordained him episcopal on June 1st of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Porto , António Francisco dos Santos , and the Bishop of Guarda , Manuel da Rocha Felício .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Santarém on October 7, 2017 . The inauguration took place on November 26th of the same year.
