Manuel Pelino Domingues (born October 7, 1941 in Lentisqueira , parish and district of Mira , Portugal ) is a Portuguese clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Santarém .

Life

Manuel Pelino Domingues received on 15 August 1965, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 19 December 1987 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Lemellefa and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Porto . The Bishop of Coimbra , João Alves , donated him episcopal ordination on March 13, 1988 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Porto, Júlio Tavares Rebimbas , and the Auxiliary Bishop in Lisbon , Horácio Coelho Cristino . John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Santarém on January 27, 1998.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on October 7, 2017.
