José Edson Santana de Oliveira
José Edson Santana de Oliveira (born November 3, 1952 in Duas Serras , Bahia , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Eunápolis .
Life
José Edson Santana de Oliveira received on 18 January 1978, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On June 12, 1996, Pope John Paul II appointed him first bishop of the diocese of Eunápolis, which was established on the same date . The bishop of Feira de Santana , Itamar Navildo Vian OFMCap , ordained him episcopal on September 8th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Feira de Santana, Silvério Jarbas Paulo de Albuquerque OFM , and the bishop of Paulo Afonso , Mário Zanetta .
