José Elías Rauda Gutiérrez
José Elías Rauda Gutiérrez OFM (born July 20, 1962 in Agua Caliente ) is a Salvadoran priest and bishop of San Vicente .
Life
José Elías Rauda Gutiérrez joined the Order of the Franciscans (OFM) , made his solemn profession on February 28, 1987 and was ordained a priest on April 1, 1989 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on January 25, 2008 auxiliary bishop in Santa Ana and titular bishop of Foratiana .
The apostolic nuncio in El Salvador and Belize , Luigi Pezzuto , donated his episcopal ordination on April 19 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Romeo Tovar Astorga OFM, Bishop of Santa Ana , and Luis Morao Andreazza OFM, Bishop of Chalatenango .
On December 12, 2009, he was appointed Bishop of San Vicente .
