José Paulino Ríos Reynoso (born October 4, 1944 in Imperial) is retired Archbishop of Arequipa .

Life

José Paulino Ríos Reynoso was ordained a priest on June 5, 1971 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Archbishop of Huancayo on December 2, 1995 and ordained him as a bishop on January 6, 1996 ; Co-consecrators were the Archbishops of the Curia Giovanni Battista Re and Jorge María Mejía .

On November 29, 2003, John Paul II appointed him Archbishop of Arequipa. Pope Benedict XVI accepted his resignation on October 21, 2006.
