Josef Auer (sculptor)
Josef Auer (* 1867 in Munich ; † April 22, 1934 ibid) was a German wood sculptor . He mainly created sacred works, some of which he made according to designs by the Munich architect Joseph Elsner .

- Monastery Church of the Holy Cross and Assumption of Mary in Scheyern : additions to the Gothic main altar (1923–1924)
- Church of St. Peter and Paul Etting (district of Rain): Pietà (1922)
- Kempten (Allgäu) , St. Anton parish church: two angels each for the Fidelis and the poor soul altar
- Landshut , St. Jodok : wood relief (1931)
