Josef Christian Aigner

Josef Christian Aigner (born October 5, 1953 in Grieskirchen ) is an Austrian psychologist , educator and psychoanalyst .

Life

Aigner studied psychology and education at the University of Salzburg and did his doctorate with Igor A. Caruso . From 1982 to 1989 he trained as a psychoanalyst at the Vorarlberg Psychoanalytic Seminar. In 2000 he received his habilitation at the University of Klagenfurt for "Psychology with special emphasis on psychoanalysis" and in the same year he was appointed associate professor at the University of Innsbruck . In 2005, the University of Innsbruck appointed him full professor for psychosocial work / psychoanalytic pedagogy. Today he is retired.

From 1993 he was a board member of the Austrian Child Protection Association . In 1993 he received the Hans Czermak Prize .
