Josef Faustenhammer

Josef Faustenhammer (born December 9, 1934 in Sieghartskirchen ; † December 3, 2017 in Tulln) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).

Life

Josef Faustenhammer learned after visiting the elementary and secondary school the teaching of Mason . Then he worked in his profession. He got involved in the union and was elected secretary of the union of construction and woodworkers in Lower Austria in 1970. From 1979 to 1991 he was a councilor in the Lower Austrian chamber for workers and employees .

As early as 1968 he moved into the Sieghartskirchen municipal council as a social democratic member, and in 1975 he became a member of the municipal council . He later became a member of the state party executive of the SPÖ Lower Austria .

From October 1991 to March 1994 he represented the interests of Lower Austria as a member of the Federal Council in Vienna .
