Josef Götz (politician)

Josef Götz , baptized as Joseph Anton Götz (born November 17, 1823 in Paternion , Carinthia ; † October 18, 1894 there ) was a member of the Austrian House of Representatives .

Life

Josef Götz was the son of the brewer Johann Götz († 1855). He was a land manager and later a landowner in Paternion. From 1864 to 1865 he was mayor there .

He was a Roman Catholic and had been married to Theresia Kapeller since 1846, but with whom he had no children.

Josef Götz was a member of the Progress Club. From April 30, 1877 he was a member of the New Progress Club .
