Karl of Cnobloch

Baron Karl von Cnobloch , also Carl von Cnobloch , (born May 6, 1829 in Dresden , † September 1, 1904 in Taborhof , Wildon community ) was an Austrian officer and member of the Austrian House of Representatives .

Life

Karl Freiherr von Cnobloch was the son of the wholesaler Friedrich Freiherr von Cnobloch († 1865). He studied in Dresden and in Freiburg im Breisgau . In 1849 he became a second lieutenant , in 1853 first lieutenant , in 1858 Rittmeister and in 1860 a captain . In 1863 he was decommissioned and made an honorary major (Major ad hon.).

He was Vice President of the Carinthian Agricultural Society and owner of the Portendorf and Farchern estates , which today belong to the Magdalensberg municipality in Carinthia . In 1879 he became cadastral director of the provincial government for Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo . He retired in 1897 .

Karl Freiherr von Cnobloch was a Protestant AB and had been married to Auguste von Henneberg since 1857, with whom he had four sons and two daughters. He was also the brother of Sigmund Conrad of Eybesfeld .

Karl Freiherr von Cnobloch was a member of the constitutional party's club from January 17, 1872 . From 1873 he was a member of the Progress Club ( constitutional large estates ).
